1. What Litterbox is

Litterbox is a free, non-commercial, fan-made platform where the Cat Goes Fishing community can share and discover mods. It's run by one person as a hobby project, not a business. Litterbox is an independent project and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the creators of Cat Goes Fishing.

• Keep your login details to yourself - you're responsible for what happens under your account.
• One account per person. Don't impersonate someone else or pretend to be a mod's creator when you're not.
• We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules.

4. Your content

• You keep ownership of the mods, descriptions, icons, banners, and posts you upload.
• You need to actually own the rights to what you upload, or have clear permission to share it - don't upload someone else's mod as your own, or use assets you don't have rights to.
• By uploading, you give Litterbox a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and let others download that content through the site, for as long as it's on the site.
• You can remove your own mods at any time from the Manage page.

5. Rules

Don't upload or post anything that:

• Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Isn't actually yours to share, or that you copied from someone without permission
• Is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or endangers or exploits minors in any way
• Is spam or unrelated to Cat Goes Fishing modding

Also don't try to abuse, exploit, or circumvent the site's systems - including its moderation, security, or rate limits. If you sign in with Discord, Discord's own rules apply to that as well.

6. Moderation

Mods uploaded with a file go through a quick manual review before they appear publicly. Preview-only mods (uploaded without a file yet) are visible immediately, clearly labeled "Preview." We can reject, remove, or take down any content - and suspend or ban accounts - at our discretion, especially for breaking the rules above.

Anyone can report a mod that seems to break the rules, and we review every report. If your mod is rejected, you'll see why on its Manage page - you're welcome to fix the issue and reach out if you think it was a mistake.

8. No warranty

Litterbox is provided "as is," run in one person's spare time. We don't guarantee it'll always be available, bug-free, or unchanged - features can change, and the site could go offline, at any time. We'll try to give a heads-up for anything major, but we can't promise it.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Litterbox and the person running it aren't liable for damages or losses arising from your use of the site or any mod downloaded through it. Use the site and any downloaded files at your own risk.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using Litterbox and ask us to delete your account at any time - just email us. We can also suspend or terminate access for anyone who breaks these rules.

11. Changes to these terms

We might update these terms occasionally as the site evolves. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect that. Continuing to use Litterbox after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Polish law, without taking away any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
